Kangana Ranaut defends Ekta Kapoor, says the filmmaker has never been a part of a 'bully gang' | Hindi Movie News Feb 19th 2022, 08:44, by Usama Younus Kangana Ranaut has always been very vocal about her thoughts on nepotism. The actress recently shared a video clip on social media, in reaction to the criticism that she is facing for collaborating with Ekta Kapoor. Kangana is going to host the reality show 'Lock Upp', which is in collaboration with MX Player. Explaining her stand on nepotism and defending Ekta Kapoor, Kangana stated in the clip, "Nepotism was never my problem. The problem was ganging up on outsiders because of nepotism. There is a difference. If you are doing your job quietly, no problem. But to say 'ye outsider hain, ye yaha nahi hone chahiye because ye humare baap dada ki jagah hai (these are outsiders and shouldn't be here because this is our forefathers' place), isn't it wrong? Ekta has never been a part of a bully gang, that I can assure you." 'Lock Up' will see Kangana turn into a mean host with several inmates locked up. In one of the promos the actress stated, "There are two kinds of people in the world- one who like me and others are those B-grade strugglers who stay in news by bad-mouthing me. These haters filed FIRs against me to drown my voice and applied the nepotism formula. My life has been turned into a 24×7 reality show. But now it's my turn." Apart from this OTT debut, Kangana Ranaut wil also be seen in 'Dhaakad', 'Tejas', 'Emergency' and 'Manikarnika Returns: The Legend of Didda'.
